Community Guidelines For Official Rio Tinto Digital Channels
Official Facebook, Instagram and Youtube channels are safe space to discuss all Rio Tinto related topics.
We encourage your feedback and aim to respond to your questions and/or comments as soon as possible. While we, as a company, do moderate this community, we welcome any open discussion.
To help everyone enjoy our community, we ask that when you post, you keep in mind the following:
- We don’t allow defamatory, indecent, offensive, profane, discriminatory, misleading, unlawful or threatening comments. Personal attacks, name-calling, trolling and abuse will not be tolerated.
- Spamming, posting promotional material or posting links to third party websites is not permitted.
- We reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion and block any offenders. We will remove content that is offensive, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.
- Please respect a different perspective to yours. We welcome different viewpoints.
- We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same from our community members. Please refrain from copying, distribution, publishing, or reproducing in whole or in part, of any published social media materials without prior written consent of the company. This includes but is not limited to images, videos, text, and other content. Unauthorized use or modification of materials may infringe upon copyrights and other legal rights. Violation of this guideline may result in the removal of content and potential other action, based on the law.
