We Condemn the Attack on the Info Center – A Troubling Message to Investors in Serbia

Belgrade – Rio Sava Exploration strongly condemns last night’s attack on our Information Center in Loznica, when unknown individuals shattered the building’s windows. All competent authorities were immediately notified of the incident. The police have conducted an investigation, and we expect the relevant institutions to promptly identify the perpetrators and take the measures prescribed by law.

We remind the public that only a few days ago, unknown individuals illegally cut down and felled trees onto local roads in the area of Slatina village, blocking access for both residents and our employees. We informed the authorities and the public about these incidents via our official website.

The destruction of property and obstruction of road access are unlawful acts that endanger safety and send a troubling message not only to our employees and the local community but also to all potential investors in Serbia. We will use all available legal means to protect our employees, partners, and property.

We remain open to engaging in transparent dialogue with all stakeholders in Serbia to ensure they fully understand the project, our environmental protection measures, and the potential benefits it could bring. This dialogue is only possible with those who genuinely wish to have a fact-based conversation. Debate on the project is in everyone’s interest. As a longstanding international investor in Serbia with operations in Loznica for over 20 years we strongly condemn these and similar security incidents.
