Guarneri Fest International String Players’ Festival in Banja Koviljača
The second Guarneri Fest International String Players’ Festival took place from May 20-22 in Banja Koviljača and gathered more than 100 young music talents and artists from both the country and the region.
The event’s host is the Special Rehabilitation Hospital Banja Koviljača and Rio Tinto the lead sponsor of the festival once again this year.
Loznica mayor Dragana Lukić gave a welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the Festival. Ms Lukić has reiterated that the events of this kind make significant contribution to the improvement of cultural life of the town of Loznica. During the ceremony, the attendees were also addressed by Special Rehabilitation Hospital Banja Koviljača Director Dr Aleksandar Jokić and Jadar Project Managing Director Chad Blewitt. “As a company who is doing business in Serbia for over 20 years, we recognize the importance of community and social performance investments in the development and preservation of cultural manifestations such as the Guarneri Fest in our host community, and we will continue to support these events in the future as well,” Chad Blewitt emphasized.
