Small grants for new local economic opportunities

Rio Sava Exploration d.o.o. has been part of the local communities of Loznica and Krupanj for more than two decades. During that time, through engaging and listening to the needs of the local community, we recognized the significant development potential of rural tourism, opportunities for improving agricultural production and developing the sector of old crafts. We also understand the challenges of establishing new business ventures. As part of our commitment to the economic development of the local communities in which we operate, Rio Sava is launching the Sustainable Local Development Program (SLDP). The program will directly support the development of existing entrepreneurial activities, the establishment of new businesses, support the creation of new jobs and strengthen self-employment. In the first phase, 30 grants will be available, in the total amount of 160,000 euros. Grants from the first phase will be open for applications related to entrepreneurship, rural tourism, and old crafts, starting on January 27, 2023. The program will be expanded in March 2023 with an additional 10 grants with a total value of 55,000 euros.

Note: This program was established as part of Rio Sava's ongoing commitment to contribute to the development of the local community. We continue to respect the decision of the Government of Serbia from January 2022 and we continue to respect all applicable laws and other regulations of Serbia.
