The Institute for Water Management “Jaroslav Černi” will carry out surface water monitoring in the Jadar area from 19 to 21 August 2025

Rio Sava Exploration d.o.o. has engaged the accredited laboratory of the Institute for Water Management “Jaroslav Černi” to conduct surface water monitoring activities. Monitoring activities are part of long-term monitoring program, implemented to observe and understand the quality and condition of surface waters and river sediments in the Jadar area.

The monitoring includes flow measurements (hydrometric measurements), water quality testing, and sampling of surface waters and sediments using manual tools and small equipment at seventeen locations along selected watercourses on the Jadar and Korenita rivers. The planned activities are conducted in accordance with international ISO standards, they don’t have negative impacts on the environment or on the water regime. Accredited experts from the Institute “Jaroslav Černi” will access the selected sites in the cadastral areas of Slatina and Gornje Nedeljice from public roads and approaches.

The planned activities are carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Serbia, based on the water conditions issued by the Directorate for Water at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management.
