Planned Activities to Develop a Forest Baseline for Rio Sava Exploration d.o.o. Plots Successfully Completed
A team of licensed experts, including forestry engineers and technicians, successfully completed an assessment of the current condition of forests on plots owned by Rio Sava Exploration d.o.o. over the course of two days on June 17 and 18, 2025.
Forest condition assessment activities are a legal requirement for all private forest owners in the Republic of Serbia and form part of the process for developing a Forest Management Plan, in accordance with applicable regulations. The two-day activity was conducted during working hours and primarily involved visits to forest communities by licensed experts. The team carried out visual observation of forest conditions and recorded all relevant data for the assessment, including forest area, timber volume, growth, and ecological conditions of the area, without the use of any mechanised equipment.
We will continue to conduct all field activities in compliance with the regulations of the Republic of Serbia and with full transparency.
