The Jadar Project

In 2004, Rio Tinto geologists discovered Jadarite, a new mineral containing lithium and boron. Jadarite, named after the Jadar River, is located near the city of Loznica in Western Serbia. The Jadar deposit is a world-class resource that could potentially provide the foundation of a new electric vehicle supply chain in Serbia.

Notice of Planned Field Activities on Company-Owned Parcels on June 17, 18, and 19, 2025

The company Rio Sava Exploration d.o.o. will conduct forest resources assessment activities on its privately owned parcels on June 17, 18, and 19, 2025.

These activities are a legal obligation for all private forest owners in the Republic of Serbia and are part of the process of developing a Forest Management Plan, in accordance with applicable regulations. The works do not involve tree cutting, use of machinery, or have any negative impact on the environment.

All activities are carried out in full compliance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia.
