Notification of Phytosanitary Inspection Conducted

As part of the Community Support Program, Rio Sava Company has granted a portion of its owned parcels, acquired from former owners, to the local community for lease without charge. This decision was made to facilitate the community's use of these parcels for agricultural purposes.

Following an assessment by the relevant authorities of the Republic of Serbia, it has been determined that four lessees did not conduct agricultural activities in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Therefore, Rio Sava Company has decided to unilaterally terminate the lease agreements with these parties.

The inspection did not hold the company responsible as the landowner, as the responsibility for agricultural activities lies with the tenants.

The company will continue to support the local community but will not tolerate any deviations from the regulations of the Republic of Serbia. Once the crops on the aforementioned parcels have been removed, we will inform the competent inspection services accordingly. As always, the company will promptly respond to any inquiries from inspection authorities.
